About Jennifer

I grew up with a talent and passion for visual arts.  My background as an artist and painter gave me a keen eye for color and aesthetics, allowing me to bring the important artistic dimension to the science of permanent cosmetics.

I was introduced to the world of micropigmentation and not only discovered my passion but a career where I’m able to apply my artistic abilities, and benefit from the satisfaction of helping others.  I attended the prestigious Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences in Boca Raton, FL.  It was at ACAS that I received my training in medical tattooing and permanent cosmetics.  I have been working as a cosmetic and medical tattooist since 2013 and have returned to the Academy for advanced continuing education courses in stardust eyeliner and 3D areola restoration.

Additionally, within the state of Virginia, I hold a ‘Master Permanent Cosmetic Tattooist’ license.  There are less than a dozen in the state to hold this highly regarded title, received after extensive testing and significant experience in the PMU industry.  This elite license allows me to perform master level services such as areola replication and scar camouflage etc.

Prior to ACAS, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts from The New School University in New York, NY.  While attending The New School I was able to study in upper level art courses at Parsons School of Design, which is ranked one of the world’s top five design schools.
